For the very first edition of MacGuffin Magazine, Roel collaborated with Matthijs Labadie to photograph the biggest collection of birds nests in the UK. The National Nest Reference Collection at the Hunterian Museum, University of Glasgow. The focus was on the incidental marvel of architecture and designs of the nests. ‘The life of things.’
